PAR™ — Permanent Authentication Records
HOW IT WORKS

How PAR Works

From enrollment to verification: a structured process for preserving proof without confusing it with custody of the underlying content.

The PAR Model

The process separates the original object or content from the proof needed to demonstrate who authenticated it, under what authority, when, and within which relationship.

1. Enrollment

An individual, organization or institution enters the framework through a verification process appropriate to its level and application context.

2. Authority Mapping

Roles, delegations, mandates, relationships and sources of authority are associated with the verified subject.

3. Authentication Event

A document, declaration, decision, asset, transaction or event is linked to the subject and its authentication context.

4. Proof Record

PAR records fingerprints, timestamps, references and relationships required to create a persistent evidentiary record.

5. Verifytion

The PAR-ID enables subsequent queries of proof status, integrity, provenance and continuity according to the applicable access level.

What PAR Does and Does Not Do

PAR Does

Identifies the source, verifies the subject, records role and authority, links entities and assets, generates temporal and cryptographic proof, and maintains provenance.

PAR Does Not

Does not replace governments, public registries, certified email or digital signatures; does not independently confer legal authority and does not declare authentic what has not been verified.
